An Important Message About the Scripture Grant Program . . .
The Scripture Grant Program has been a partnership between Chicago Bible Society and the American Bible Society that has existed in some form since our founding in 1840. The American Bible Society is currently undergoing a strategic re-organization, and we are unsure whether the Scripture Grant Program will continue, or in what form it will operate in the future. We therefore, regretfully, have had to suspend the grant program indefinitely.
Churches and outreach ministries may still purchase discount Bibles through our office. We can also provide the Gospel of John and Scripture portions for free.
Staff chaplains at hospitals and prisons should contact our office for information about Bibles. We, unfortunately, cannot provide Bibles to ministries that only visit institutions.
