Scripture grants are given to chaplains and ministers who work with those incarcerated in adult and juvenile correctional facilities, and to ministries that reach out to youth, the homeless, and to the sick and elderly.
Grant Criteria
Scripture Grant requests must be from a non-profit or non-commercial entity in the Greater Chicago region. Bibles are to be used to engage the recipients in ongoing reading and study of Scripture and must not be sold or used to raise funds.
To apply for the Scripture Grand Program, complete the Grant Registration Form and mail or fax it to the Chicago Bible Society.
Grant Program Funding
The program is made possible primarily through the generous support of the American Bible Society and through the support of the Chicago Bible Society members and donors.
